DRAKHTHAR

Forger of Legend · Guardian of the Flame
His hammer blows shape the steel, but his wisdom shapes destiny. In every spark, the legacy of his people.
In the forges of the Forge Clan, Durak is not merely the finest craftsman — he is the living memory of what steel can do when the one who works it knows what he is forging. His pieces are not tools. They are decisions cast in metal.
He forged Valekor's axe. He knew what it meant before he finished it. That is the thing no one has ever asked him directly, and he has never explained. Some secrets are safer inside a forge than out of it.
“The metal remembers every blow. So does the man who wields it.”
The Forge Clan has stood in Vhar-Kaz for generations. Durak knows the history of every tool that has left his forges, and what has become of them. His rival, Master Haldrek, believes Durak knows more than he lets on about Valekor's axe. He is right. What Durak knows — and what he has chosen to keep silent — is part of the longest story in the saga.
Durak forged Valekor's weapon, which binds them in a way Valekor himself does not fully understand. Within the Forge Clan, his rivalry with Master Haldrek is constant — Haldrek suspects Durak is hiding something about that axe, and he is not wrong.
